How to Perform the Wayne Cook Posture

Wayne Cook Posture is easy to perform and only takes a few minutes. 

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Find a Comfortable Seat: Sit in a chair with your spine straight.
  2. Left Side First:
    • Place your left foot over your right knee.
    • Wrap your right hand around the front of your left ankle and your left hand around the ball of your left foot, curling your fingers around the sides of your foot.
    • Breathe in slowly through your nose, pulling your leg toward you to create a stretch. As you exhale through your mouth, relax your body. Repeat this for 4–5 breaths.
  3. Switch to the Right Side:
    • Place your right foot over your left knee.
    • Wrap your left hand around the front of your right ankle and your right hand over your right foot, curling your fingers around the sides.
    • Repeat the same slow breathing and stretching motion for 4–5 breaths.
  4. Integrate and Center:
    • Uncross your legs and bring your hands together, steepling your fingertips to form a pyramid.
    • Rest your thumbs on your “third eye” (just above the bridge of your nose).
    • Take 3–4 deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth.
  5. Finish with a Forehead Sweep:
    • On the last exhalation, curl your fingers into the center of your forehead and pull them across to your temples.
    • Slowly bring your hands down, relax, and surrender into your natural breathing rhythm.

You’ll feel more centered, calm, and ready to take on whatever comes your way.
