"What if the secret to your body's organization and health lies in the invisible compass of your cells?"

We use the word "polarity" a lot in Eden Energy Medicine. It refers to using a stainless steel spoon on the bottom of the feet to correct whole-body polarity. It’s usually the first thing we test and introduce to a new client if you are a practitioner of the Eden Method.

However, when asked about research on the spoon, we have to honestly say there isn’t any foot-spoon research. Before anything can be researched, there has to be an observational-based practice—something that catches someone’s attention and can be reproduced. After that practice is observed and replicated, there’s often a spark that inspires someone to start collecting documentation through something called a case study.

Evidence-based practices have to begin somewhere—with someone in an academic setting, in a healthcare setting, or in their home, feeling trapped by a diagnosis that leaves them feeling helpless.

When I look up "polarity" on Google Scholar or use AI to sift through research, polarity and cancer research seem to top the charts.

So, why do I carry a spoon in my pocket, have a spoon in my office, keep one at my bedside, and stash a bunch of dollar store spoons in a bag? Because Donna Eden, who reversed numerous illnesses over her lifetime because she can see energy (yep, that’s hard for anyone to wrap their mind around), says polarity matters. She sees polarity in the body and asserts that the spoon helps and can be a starting point for healing. There are many more steps in any healing modality.

This blog post has highlighted how cell polarity and disorganization are often discussed together. I could start an entirely new paragraph on Homolateral Repatterning, foot gaits, and disorganization, but I will leave that for another post and link it here.

  1. Adequate Sleep: Sleep is essential for cellular repair and maintaining cell polarity. It is recommended to aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Poor sleep can lead to oxidative stress and pH imbalances.
  2. Regular Exercise: Engaging in regular physical activity can improve blood circulation and oxygen delivery to cells, which supports healthy cell polarity. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise, like walking, yoga, or swimming, five times a week. Exercise also helps reduce stress, which can lead to acidity in the body. Doing the Daily Energy Routine could be considered exercise because it involves movement. It is physical activity.
  3. Healthy Diet: Consuming a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole foods can help maintain a healthy cellular environment, which is beneficial for the function of polarity complexes. Load up on leafy greens, citrus fruits, and nuts (your cells love a good alkaline buffet) and limit the junk food that turns your body into an acidic nightclub. Stay hydrated—water is your cells’ favorite drink, and just a splash of lemon makes it even better.
  4. Stress Management: Chronic stress can disrupt various cellular functions, including cell polarity. Practices such as mindfulness, meditation, or deep breathing exercises can help manage stress levels and contribute to cellular health. Breathe it out—your cells don’t need that drama.
  5. Avoiding Toxins: Exposure to environmental toxins can disrupt cell polarity. Using natural cleaning products, avoiding smoking, and limiting exposure to industrial pollutants can help maintain cellular health.
  6. Limit Alcohol and Caffeine: Excessive consumption of alcohol and caffeine can disrupt cellular processes, including cell polarity. It's best to consume these in moderation. Go easy on the caffeine and alcohol—your cells prefer less of this, so moderation is key!
  7. Finally, The Spoon: It can’t hurt, and it just may help. Rubbing a stainless spoon on the bottom of your feet seems to help disperse static/tension and excess energy. It can act as a quick grounding device for your whole body by correcting polarity.
