SherringenergyTeez is a creative endeavor to make a visual resource of energy medicine and this blog spot is a place to share information and stories with our personal journey to understanding energy medicine. Sharing everything energy and anything creative that makes remembering easier and fun. Doodle, Teez or Blog will be sometimes doodles, sometimes drawings, sometimes blogs, cheatsheets of energy techniques or research study breakdowns and wearable conversation starters with a some kind of energy connection. A place to learn how energy has a relationship in the physical world having a way to easily share.

Did you know your cells have a built-in GPS system? It's called cell polarity, and it’s essential for keeping your tissues organized and healthy.
How Disorganized Cells Lead to Disease
"What if the secret to your body's organization and health lies in the invisible compass of your cells?"
We use the word "polarity" a lot in Eden Energy Medicine. It refers to using a stainless steel spoon on the bottom of the feet to correct whole-body polarity. It’s usually the first thing we test and introduce to a new client if you are a practitioner of the Eden Method.
However, when asked about research on the spoon, we have to honestly say there isn’t any foot-spoon research. Before anything can be researched, there has to be an observational-based practice—something that catches someone’s attention and can be reproduced. After that practice is observed and replicated, there’s often a spark that inspires someone to start collecting documentation through something called a case study.
Evidence-based practices have to begin somewhere—with someone in an academic setting, in a healthcare setting, or in their home, feeling trapped by a diagnosis that leaves them feeling helpless.
When I look up "polarity" on Google Scholar or use AI to sift through research, polarity and cancer research seem to top the charts.
So, why do I carry a spoon in my pocket, have a spoon in my office, keep one at my bedside, and stash a bunch of dollar store spoons in a bag? Because Donna Eden, who reversed numerous illnesses over her lifetime because she can see energy (yep, that’s hard for anyone to wrap their mind around), says polarity matters. She sees polarity in the body and asserts that the spoon helps and can be a starting point for healing. There are many more steps in any healing modality.
This blog post has highlighted how cell polarity and disorganization are often discussed together. I could start an entirely new paragraph on Homolateral Repatterning, foot gaits, and disorganization, but I will leave that for another post and link it here.
“It’s just a spoon, but maybe it really matters.”
What is Cell Polarity?
Cell polarity is the ability of cells to organize themselves asymmetrically, meaning they have a "top" and "bottom" or a specific direction. This organization allows cells to perform specialized tasks, much like how a compass or GPS helps guide a traveler. Without this internal "compass," cells lose their ability to function properly.

Why Cell Polarity is Important for Health?
Cell polarity is essential for keeping our bodies organized and functioning smoothly. Here’s how it helps:

What Happens When Cell Polarity is Lost?
When cells lose their polarity, they become disorganized, leading to chaos in tissues and organs. This disorganization can cause:

How Does Cell Polarity Work?
Polarity is maintained by specific proteins (like GTPases and kinases) that regulate the cell's internal structure.
These proteins act like construction managers, ensuring everything is in the right place. When these proteins are altered or malfunction, cells lose their sense of direction, leading to diseases like cancer.

Conclusion: Lifestyle Choices for Healthy Polarity Complexes
While cell polarity is influenced by internal mechanisms, external factors like stress, poor diet, lack of sleep, and exposure to toxins can also disrupt cellular health. By making healthier lifestyle choices, you can support your cells' ability to stay organized and functional.

Polarity Matters
The Earth and our bodies have a north and a south pole. Having the correct magnetic polarization of your body can help ground our physical selves to the Earth's energies.
Some people have reported that sleep, pain, and stress can be positively affected by simply spooning the bottoms of their feet every day.
Donna Eden pioneered Energy Medicine and developed the Eden Method as a creative way to learn how to communicate, shift, and practice easy self-care techniques with the wisdom of your body's energy.

Key Takeaway: Healthy habits—like eating nutritious foods, exercising, THE DER, managing stress, and avoiding toxins—can help maintain your cells' "compass," keeping your body organized and resilient against disease.
“Loss of Cell Polarity and Cancer Progression”
Simplified Summary:
The phrase "loss of cell polarity is a hallmark of cancer progression" means that when cells lose their organized structure and orientation (their "sense of direction"), they stop functioning normally. This disorganization is a key sign that a cell is becoming cancerous and moving toward a more aggressive, malignant state.
Why Cell Polarity Matters:
Implications for Cancer Research:
Understanding how and why cells lose polarity is critical for developing new ways to prevent and treat cancer.
By targeting the mechanisms that disrupt polarity, researchers can explore strategies to stop tumor growth and progression.
Source: Cell polarity changes in cancer initiation and progression
Altered cell polarity is a hallmark of cancer progression. It affects multiple biological processes, including cell growth, survival, tissue organization, and metastasis. Understanding how polarity proteins are altered in cancer can provide insights into new therapeutic strategies, such as targeting polarity pathways to prevent tumor growth and improve treatment outcomes.
I think I will keep carrying my spoon!
Trying to make sense of science, lifestyle changes and unproven things like spooning your feet seems be on the horizon of better health. #research
Please note that while these lifestyle choices can contribute to overall cellular health, they are not guaranteed to directly affect polarity complexes. Always consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
